  4. Hi Mark,

I am having a great summer! So far I have gone Mt biking twice, rafting 4 times, cherry picking and blueberry picking, spent a week with my grandparents going to basketball camp at OIT and have been having a great time with friends! I will send some pictures to your e-mail. It would be great to hear what everyone else is doing!
Have a great time this summer! Your future student,
    Joe :-)

  5. Hello everyone! MARK UPDATE! July has been lots of fun, reading, running and relaxing. After I came back from Baltimore and the East Coast, I have been spending a lot of time in the mountains and on the Pacific Crest Trail. Besides running the Southern Oregon Outback run on July 14, I was back packing for 5 days on the PCT near Etna, California. It was amazing to meet folks who have walked from the border with Mexico all the way through California, more than 1650 miles to Oregon, in about three months... that is close to 30 miles a day for three months. The folks I met were very interesting and had many adventures to share.

I am now hiking in Utah for the week before heading back to Ashland to prepare for school. I am getting really excited for the coming school year and can't wait to hear from you! Mark

  7. Hi Mark and 4th Grade class,
I'm having a great summer! We went to Yosemite at the end of June and did lots of hiking. I'll email some photos. I've also been swimming, visiting cousins in Bend, picking cherries, and going to the Redding Water Park! We're going to the coast next week! Have a great rest of your summer.

From your almost 4th grade student,
