Today it was ice cold. I could see my breath in the air and I thought it would snow. Me and the rest of my class went to Eagle Mill Farm today. On our bikes. I literally thought my hands were going to fall off because they were so cold. Me and my friend made up a Halloween language for: stop, go, turning right, turning left and a lot more The language was kind of with names of monsters: zombie, vampire, ghost, goul and a lot more.

Once we got to the pumpkin patch, I went straight for the fattest, biggest pumpkin I could see. The pumpkin patch was a little bit dry, and it was kind of hard to see the pumpkins But I couldn’t carry any of them. Not even lift them. I found a few I could carry but they were squishy, gross or REALLY, REALLY dirty. Then I saw it. Lying there in a sun ray, was a orange, gold, tall pumpkin. I had found my pumpkin. But the question was, would I be able to carry it? My mom helped me get the glorious pumpkin off the stem. I tried picking it up. It slowly lifted off the ground. I got really happy. Then I figured how heavy it was. My mom taught me that if a pumpkin was bigger then my head, it was going to be HEAVY. H-E-A-V-Y. But I eventually got it back.

On the ride back to school it wasn’t so bad. Because it was sunny! When we got back, our pumpkins came back before us. I looked at mine, and I knew that I had picked out a good one. I had a great day.

We rode bikes to Eagle Mill Farm for the pumpkin patch and it was really cold I was freezing. My pumpkin was so big it was probably the biggest pumpkin I have ever had. And on the bike ride there I noticed somebody had fell in the blackberry bushes by pushing the front break to hard and fell on their side into the blackberry bushes. But she said it did not hurt. When we got to the hill we could se all the pumpkins there was a lot. And up on the top of the hill there was a cat tat kept on following us down the hill and back up the hill but it just did not leave till we left. My pumpkin was the biggest in the class and I could barely carry it up the hill.

The pumpkin was so big that I had to role it half way. But rolling it up the hill did not work. So I had to run up the hill with it. Was really heavy and luckily I did not have to carry it because I could not.

Today we biked to the pumpkin-patch. It was so cold I thought my fingers were going to fall off. When we finally got there after it felt like a eternity so we finally got there we saw a small black kitten through the fence. We started to too pet it, but suddenly it bit me “owe”! I shouted. Then I started to pet it again. This time it didn’t bit me the fur was very soft and fluffy and smelled like pumpkin. So after the cat incidence we went down the hill and to the pumpkins. There were pumpkins everywhere. There were pumpkins hear pumpkins there pumpkins everywhere. Everybody started running around franticly to find a good pumpkin including me. There where big pumpkins little pumpkins tall pumpkins small pumpkins it was imposable to chose just one. I finally chose one it was big round and a perfect size. But I didn’t know how heavy it was. So when I picked it up I was in for a surprise it was so heavy it was like picking up a big dog. So I was carrying up my pumpkin when I heard a rustling in the bushes. Suddenly a small black blur jumped out. And when it landed I could see it was the cat I saw earlier. I triad to pet it but it ran away. So I started carrying my pumpkin it was vary hard. First I triad to carry it but that didn’t work. So then I started rolling it but there was trouble when I got to the hill. So out of my jacket I made a little sack. I zipped up my jacket and put the pumpkin in it. Then I stuck my hands into the pockets of my jacket and lifted it up. So when I finally got to the top of the hill I lade my pumpkin down on the ground and stretched my arms out. Then it was time to go back to school everybody got

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch at Eagle Mill Farm in COLD WEATHER. The trees were blowing in a little in the wind and the birds were singing a little. The weather was nice a little later but it was at 10:00 in the morning. Leafs were falling and the river was flowing swiftly on the rocks. Ten in the morning was pretty cold my hands were as cold as ice. It took 10 to 15 or even 20 minuets to get to the farm. The bikes were like the could air. And then we finally got to the cold farm.

The weather was warmer now and much more birds were out. We saw a black cat at the other side on the fens we said '' hi your so cute'' and other things. We ran to the Pumpkin Patch but we would soon regret it. Joe called out '' I CALL THE BIGGEST PUMKIN'' I got the second biggest but in the corner of my eye I saw a smaller pumpkin: A bark orange pumpkin with a long but short stem, a flat like pumpkin in a corner of the field. It was not very big one but not small ether. The sun filled the sky with energy but not for us. Soon later we were rolling pumpkins on the ground and up the hill. It felt like a year to get then up.

Like a slit second mark said ''30 more seconds'' up a hill and into a truck was long but you could see all the shades of orange and green all shapes and sizes and more.

It was a long bike ride bake with the river beside us. Finely we got to school. All big and small pumpkins, going to be seeds again.

W hen we got on the bikes I knew it was going to be freezing but I knew it was also going to be AWESOME! When we were going down the big hills my face was as cold as ice. And my hands were pretty cold even though I was wearing gloves.
When we got there we had to set our bikes down and if we had a snack that would be the time to eat them, I had a chocolate and caramel granola bar. Then we had to walk down the hill to get a PUMPKIN! Mine was a dark orange color and it was kind of flat it was probably about 4 or 5 Pounds which isn't that heavy so it wasn't that hard to carry it up the hill.
When we got to the top of the hill Skylars mom brought her truck and took the pumpkins back to school. And we had to bike back. It wasn't as cold on the way back but it was still pretty cold.

My class went to Eagle Mill Farm and it was soooooooooooooooooooo cold. I was up at the front of the line and I was talking and someone came and said “ Taelynn fell in the blackberries. But she is all right.” When we got there I was so tired when we got there we parked our bikes. And we lined up and went down to the pumpkin patch and picked a pumpkin. I got the 3rd biggest pumpkin.

The bike ride to the Eagle Mill pumpkin patch was intense because we went over 1 mile of uphill riding. It was as cold as being stuck in an iceberg. Also we had lots of people slamming their brakes just because they think it is funny to make a collision. Talen fell in the bushes. When we got the pumpkins the pumpkin patch was huge. I picked the biggest pumpkin I could grab.

I could hardly get the pumpkin up the hill to the truck at the top of the hill. I was pooped when I got up the hill I had a tough ride to the school. After we got to school its
already lunch time. So we got lunch and hade a normal day. When it was time to go home I called my mom to pick my pumpkin and me up. The way I felt was cold and tired.

Today it was as chilly as a popsicle outside and our teacher made us ride our bikes to Eagle Mill Farm to pick pumpkins. Right behind me, Taelynn was just looking over to talk to her friend when suddenly, Taelynn stopped talking, I heard crying. “What is going on?” I said to the person behind me. “Taelynn stopped her front wheel and feel in the black berry bush.” He said. When we got there we saw an ordinary black cat that we saw running around at the farm. “Look at the little cat.” We said as we followed the cat. We were all so excited to pick our pumpkins because we all knew which ones we wanted and what we were going to do with them.

When we got back, we all had a lot of pumpkins that were different in many ways by color, size, shape and even more. The adult helpers were going around handing out pieces of tape so write our names on them and put it on our pumpkins. Some of us including me got light pumpkins so we can carry it to the truck, and most of us got HEAVY pumpkins because they wanted BIG, HUGE pumpkins. I could not wait to take the pumpkin home and show my family how cool my pumpkin was. I already figured out what I was going to do with it when I got home, I was going to get one eye from my Mr. Potato Head, stick it right into the pumpkin, then at the bottom I would carve a big rectangular hole, get some fake vampire teeth, stick it right through the hole and make a Cyclops. My pumpkin was small, round, it had a small stem, and it was orange.

When we were heading back, Me and Gabe were just talking and chatting when he said “Look at that.” Gabe was pointing to a bunch of reddish orange chickens on a hay stack. “There’s a rooster there too.” In fact, there really was a big white rooster with feathers all over his neck.

When I went down the fast hill , it felt like I was flying downhill ! When we got there , I couldn’t WAIT to pick a pumpkin . I decided I would pick a pumpkin that was different than all the other ones . first I went to the area I saw with small pumpkins . Everyone else but me and Miles were looking for big big BIG pumpkins. I found a perfect pumpkin , but when I turned it over , it had a big hole in it , : ( right ?

My day was really cool mostly why it was cool is because .We went to Eagle Mill Farm for pumpkins. We got there on bikes. I brought my own bike to ride. It was much easier riding back to school then from
school . To me it felt about 50 degrees to me to other people they were like a man in 0 degrees or maybe below. When we got there the annoying people yelling they where cooled stopped and started too talk about the cat, it was annoying too. Then we went down the hill to get pumpkins. One of my rejected pumpkins had a snail family under it. The one I got was small because I had to bike home and it would take forever to go up the hill on my bike. We were only there for about 5 minutes. It was still hard to bike home after school. and that was my weird pumpkin day.

Today we biked to Eagle Mill Farm on our bikes. In the morning my Dad dropped me off early. When I stepped outside I was automatically cold. I came to the class, dropped off my backpack, and went out to the playground. Instantly I was inside getting my stuff ready.
We got our bikes ready to head off. I was in the 4th spot in the biking line. I started talking to a friend so I wasn’t paying attention and the line went. Peach’s Mom was not looking either so my friend said that the line was moving. I told Kim to start going since I was behind her. She started going. Pretty soon I was going too.
We got to the pumpkin patch in time to see a black cat that is sooo cute. Ava got a straw of wheat and started playing with the kitten.

Today we rode are bikes to the pumpkin patch. It was so cold my hands were Ice cubes. too bad I forgot my gloves. On the way there my friend fell in to the black berry bushes but she is ok now.
Lots of people got really big pumpkins and had a really hard time carrying them up the hill. A few had to go back to the pumpkin patch to get another pumpkin. I got a small pumpkin it was green with orange spots. I had a really fun time. I was very disappointed when we had to leave. We walked up the hill and we put are pumpkins in Skylar’s moms truck. Then we got on our bikes and rode back to school. Skylar’s mom drove our pumpkins back to school. I can’t wait to go back to the pumpkin patch next year!

Today I went to E.M.L Pumpkin Patch. How we got there was on bikes the only bad part is I was the one to be chosen to fall in the blackberry bush. When we got there we went straight to picking pumpkins. I was with Ava she picked “ THE BIG ONE’’. She tried to pick it up and she couldn’t. It turns out like 17\22 kids picked “THE BIG ONE’S”. I felt kind of sorry because they had to roll them all the way to the E.M.L parking lot. Mine was small
